Keith Day

Keith and his equity investor group founded Legacy Road Partners to leverage his expertise as a CEO, Plant Operator and Sales executive to acquire, operate, and grow a single business from a retiring business owner who wants to see his/her legacy and hard work preserved for the decades to come.

Keith’s experience has spanned many industries, including aircraft & aerospace, steel, enterprise software, uniform rental services, tier 1 automotive, equipment & process filtration and energy infrastructure & services. He has worked in roles as diverse as a “bag carrying salesman”, business development, operations & maintenance, manufacturing, business services and engineering. Companies took the form of both small privately held businesses and public corporations. Special situations included start-ups and business turnarounds.

Keith spent the first half of his life growing up and being instilled with Midwestern values in Cincinnati, Ohio. The second half of Keith’s career was spent living and working in the Chicagoland area. He earned degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
